Experience a holiday in Mauritius in a luxurious style with this six nights’ escapade. Relax and indulge at the InterContinental Resort, situated alongside the idyllic coastline, against the backdrop of lush mountain peaks. Get an ideal start of your morning with a delicious breakfast and be ready for a great escape from the busy chaotic city life with the Ile Aux Cerf Island tour. The excursion begins with a pickup from the hotel’s lobby after breakfast, with a transfer on a seat-in-coach basis to the speed boat.
The speed boat would take you to the island, where you could feast your eyes on the emerald green lagoons and walk on the white patches of sand as the winds and waves calm you down. The island also offers you the opportunity to have some fun and enjoy an array of exhilarating water activities (own expense) such as parasailing, tube ride, speedboat rides, flying fish, banana boats, among others.
If you wish to walk the bottom of the sea, you could go for an Undersea Walk (own expense). This activity is an ultimate experience, as you walk on the sea bed and enjoy the underwater world in a safe and secure manner. Here, you can get up-close and personal with the marine life.
End the evening, with a delicious dinner and a comfortable stay at the hotel after the eventful day.

After a delicious breakfast, you could spend the day at leisure by visiting the beaches on the beautiful islands. After enjoying a relaxing night in absolutely comfortable contemporary accommodation, head to savour a delicious breakfast amidst the breathtaking surroundings that you would never like to leave. Thereafter, you would be picked-up from the hotel’s lobby for a full-day tour of the Northern Islands on a seat-in-coach basis. During the excursion, you would be visiting the capital city of Port Louis and the French colonial buildings that date back to 1738. Some of the other places which you would be visiting might seem familiar to you, as many Bollywood movies have been shot at places like Ford Adelaide (Garam Masala), Caudan Waterfront (Kuch Hota Hai), the Cap Malheureux Church (36 China Town) and Marie Reine Da La Paix (No Entry).
After taking in the sights, you could indulge yourself and shop your heart out, at the Jumbo Shopping Mall. The option of a lunch thali (Indian) for INR 1000-1500 (own expense) would be available on the tour.
As the day comes to an end, head back to the hotel. After such a packed day, if you've some time for yourself then avail services of the in-house wellness center of the hotel (at an additional cost) - Yuj Spa, which has seven private rooms. The trained therapist at the center provides more than 50 treatments, including Balinese, Thai, Japanese and Swedish.

Another unique experience that you could enjoy on the islands, is a visit to the Casela Bird Park, which allows you to a Walk with Lions (own expense). Interact with the majestic beasts and witness the ‘kings of the jungle’ interact among themselves. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is an exciting way to spend your time in Mauritius. The walk is an hour-long exercise, where you would spend time with the lions under proper guidance and supervision of experts.

Wake up to a beautiful view of the ocean and lush terrain from the room and make way to the dining area to grab a breakfast. Thereafter, you would be picked up from the hotel’s lobby for a full-day South Island tour. During the excursion, you would be visiting the extinct volcano of Trou aux Cerfs, followed by a visit to the Ganga Talao or Grand Bassin - a sacred Hindu temple and a holy lake in the crater of another extinct volcano. The excursion also includes a visit to the Coloured Earth Valley, a must-see Mauritian wonder. Do watch out for the unique seven coloured layers of sand, a unique phenomenon. Another charming addition to the tour is the mini waterfalls, which add to the beauty of the island.
In the evening, if you've some time at disposal then you could take part in activities available (own expense) at the hotel like beach volleyball, table tennis, beach soccer and plenty more to keep the adrenaline rush pumping.
After a full day of sight-seeing, you would return to the hotel for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
